Ati Pharmed Co. was registered in the Iranian Company Registration Central Office in 2011 as a privet joint-stock company. The company, as one of the most modern pharmaceutical companies in Iran and the Middle East, was set up as a result of a joint venture between Barakat Pharmed Company and Swiss Stragen Healthcare Group to manufacture oral hormonal products based on European principals and standards (such as GMP, GSP and GDS standards). The plant was built by modules (prefabricated materials).
Scope of Activity:
Doing research into, developing and manufacturing pharmaceutical and chemical products, and producing, acquiring, importing, selling and exporting hormonal products.
The plant located in Kordan village, Alborz province, Pharmaceutical Industrial Park of Barakat.
Key Points of Building this Plant:
- The first plant in the country that was built by modules (prefabricated materials);
- Record-breaking designing, installing and launching time (the project took 18 months to complete which normally takes five to six months in average to do such projects in related industries);
- Complying with all international standards and global rules and regulations to manufacture drugs and that the feasibility of officially registering and exporting these drugs to international markets;
- Offering imported drugs with the same specifications, quality and official name by 50 per cent lower prices;
